Awkward size makes it hard to handle. Sharp edges, low suds. Would not buy again
After watching a video on how the soap was made, I was excited about trying it out. The soap in the video had a rich green color, an olive color. The soap I received is white. It also has no fragrance, which in some ways is good, but in other ways I thought it would have a hint of olive oil odor. In addition the soap barely has a lather. No issues with seller, and the delivery was quick.
Hi James, the soap you wanted was different from what you ordered. The pure olive soap from Awaida is white and unscented, whereas the video shows the process for the Champion brand of Awaida that is green and uses second press oil. Sorry you didn't have a good experience.
My boyfriend is from Palestine and this gives him a connection to his homeland. We proudly use Nablus soap and love the Nablus cheese also which we purchase from the Mid-Eastern markets in our area.
I just bought my first box of the Nablus soaps plus some aged soaps. I love them! They feel like the way soap is supposed to be—traditional methods, minimal packaging, no cloying fragrances, all very natural. I use them in my kitchen, shower, even for washing my face. Recommend highly

I have sensitive skin, and many mainstream soaps provide more drying and irritation than relief. The soaps from Nablus Soap Cooperative are lovely - they don't dry out my skin, they have a light & pleasant scent, and they last well. I love them!
Good value! Good for face and body. Doesn't dry my skin, leaves skin smooth with no weird film. I'm glad there's an aged option, it lasts even longer than the fresh bars I've been buying. I like to age my bar soap for 2-4 months before using, this is even "older" so it really lasts! I think Ostrich is my favorite, large bars and good lather at a good price!
I could not function without this soap. And I'm so happy to support a women's collective. Love to everyone in Palestine.
My family agrees that it is the best soap we have used for our skin. I gave away the Almond soap that I have been asked to review. I will have to get some more next time I order. I pray for those growing the olives and making the soap ...... and their families. I also write my congressional representatives, at least weekly, to complain about the complicity of our government in supporting the continued invasion and occupation of your lands. Support is growing in our country to end that support - the elections this fall MAY make a difference but BOTH parties have been duped by AIPAC for so long I don't expect an immediate end to my country's support.
This is the best soap ever -- I have been using and enjoying it for years and can't imagine using anything else.

This review is for customer service. My package was very delayed and then arrived with evidence of tampering, none of which was their fault. However, because of the volatility surrounding anything related to Palestine, I messaged to inform them of the situation (with pics) and that I was uncomfortable opening and/or using the contents of the package as is, worried someone messed with it. The first person to reply was very kind and understanding and offered to replace or refund the soap immediately (stating my safety and peace of mind were top priorities) but then the manager jumped in and demanded I open the box first and send them pictures for their insurance before anything can be done, completely ignoring my concerns. I offered to send the package back untouched so they can inspect it themselves and submit whatever they needed to insurance but it seems the manager preferred I take on that risk. I refused to put my safety at risk for $36 worth of soap and told them to keep my money as a donation whilst also offering to send the package back before discarding but I never heard from them again. All of this was happening as I was mourning a loss so it made everything worse. They lost a lifelong customer but I still wish them well.
I’ve ordered two keys soap many times before (through third party sellers) as a way to support Palestine and really like it. So the soap itself is great based on past experience with other retailers.
Firstly this is the best soapI ever used, so, of course it deserves its own dish, like it’s own home on the countertop.
I am definitely happy with my purchase of this soap. It cleans well and doesn’t dry out your skin. I would buy it again.
OK, I admit it, I didn’t buy these to use as a soap dish. I liked the pictures and the size and I use them to hold snacks. They work great for that even if they have drain holes.
I love my soap dish. It is just the right size and the design is very cheerful. I like having a piece of artisan pottery as well as having a reminder of Palestine in the bathroom. I would like the draining holes to be bigger, but that is a little quibble. Can recommend.
I am hooked on soap from the Nablus Palestinian Soap Cooperative. Each soap bar lasts amazingly long. The quality is consistently excellent. The soap doesn't dry out my skin at all, in fact, it seems to moisturize while it is cleansing. I have been using this soap exclusively for about three years now and I believe it keeps my skin looking young. I highly recommend this product.
I’ve been using Palestinian soap for a number of years and have tried nearly all of them. The latest one was so luscious and creamy. I’m so glad I kept the wrapper for future identification and that marvelous soap is The Candle.
Love these soaps Anna have been buying for years now. Really great product and consistent. It’s non irritating and has no fragrance. My skin feels soft.
