These towels are hand-loomed in Bursa, Turkey from organic linen grown in the İzmir region. İzmir's climate and soil conditions contribute to the material's softness, absorbency, and durability. The towels will become increasingly soft over time.
The Hammam towel, also known as a "Peshtemal" refers to a towel that wraps around the waist. Measuring 3.2 feet by 6 feet they are as large as a beach towel, and have a great variety of uses.
Each design is made one by one, or in very small batches. Thus most designs have a stock of only one!
