Made by the craftspeople of Ceramic Al Fakhouri in Al Khalil, Palestine. Manufactured and painted by hand, and just the size for Nablus soap bar. Drain holes on each corner.
The Fakhouri family has passed down their craft through generations — their name comes from the Arabic "fukhar", meaning clay. Today, their shop persists through the escalating challenges of life under segregation and checkpoints, and a temporary move due to increasingly militarized conditions in the city this past year.
Dimensions: square 3.75" exterior, 2.75" interior.

I love these little dishes. They’re absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, they chip if you just look at them. I’m not exaggerating. I bought blue nail polish to fill in and cover up the chips on my Colorful Flowers and painted over the fixes with clear nail polish when they were completely dry. It came out okay but I promise you that I have no idea how it came to be chipped in the first place. Something about the process needs to be addressed.
lightweight and beautiful! i do think the drainage could be a bit better by raising the bottom of the dish so the holes arent blocked by whatever surface the dish is on.
