Made in Irbid, Jordan by the Masri family workshop. The Masri are a Palestinian family who have been the main producers of Nablus soap for the Jordanian market since before 1948.
Along with Camel and Two Keys, the Ostrich is one of the three oldest and most historic brands of Nablus soap. Their factory continues to use traditional methods of soap production.
I really think this soap prevents dry skin in the winter better than any other soap brand/type I have used. Shipping always fast. Really stellar. For once, I am glad the Instagram algorithm served me up an ad!
I was looking for a soap that’s not made by P&G or a large corporation and thought I would try Nablus soap. It lathers well and doesn’t have a heavy scent. I also bought a scrub brush and a loofa mitt. I love the soap and will buy a large order next time so I can gift some to friends.
My second time purchasing, and I got the biggest box they offer. I give this to friends and family and use it in my own home. Could not recommend more.
