I ordered a box of soap and being a poet, I was delighted to find such a beautiful poem within the package. The soap lathers beautifully. I use it for cleansing and love its simple, soothing and moisturising ingredients. I will be ordering again. Go raibh mile mhaith agat - which is Irish for a thousand thanks to you.
PS I have written a poem called Painting for Palestine in memory of Heba Zagout
and if you don't mind I have included the first verse:-
Born into a world of exile
to family driven from their soil,
raised on tales of stolen land
and a house full of love and life,
where sunbirds sang in orange groves
and drupes from sacred olive trees
were turned to liquid gold.

The Heritage of Soap Factories in Nablus
In this beautifully-written and well-researched article, Véronique Bontemps examines how "a new interest and discourse developed about [Nablus] soap buildings as icons of Palestinian national heritage."
