To be fully compostable, Nablus soap has to be wrapped in non-waxed paper, but this also makes their wrappers susceptible to discoloration if the soap is not completely cured before it is wrapped. This "Naked" Nablus Soap Box consists of young soaps whose wrappers needed to be pulled and the soaps given some extra weeks of curing.
A friend told me about this soap years ago after he was in Nablus. Finally I tried it! There's nothing like it. Love the olive aroma. I had the confidence to order six bars, and I'm glad I did. It's obvious why this soap has been popular for a millienia!
